The widow of a Minden-Tahoe Airport mechanic whose body was found in the desert north of the airport is charged with stealing $30,000 dollars from her late husband's business in the past year.
An accountant who worked for Robin Bodden and his business, General Aviation Services of Nevada, testified in East Fork Justice Court that Bodden passed up a big tax break to set up his corporation so his wife Karen had no say in its operation.
Lecia Nichols of Reno also testified that Bodden knew his wife was forging checks, but he didn't want to turn her in.
43-year-old Karen Bodden is charged with grand larceny and two counts of uttering a forged instrument. She was arrested September eleventh in connection with an investigation of her husband's disappearance. He was reported missing August 17th and his badly decomposed body was discovered September tenth. She has not been charged in connection with her husband's disappearance or death.
